AARP Colorado sent out a mass mailer to a number of residents on Aug. 1, 2022, which included a request for action in the upcoming gas rate increase requested by Xcel Energy.
The mailer read, "Raise your voice before they raise your rates." AARP Colorado erred in the amount that rates could be increased by the year 2024. Rates could actually go up $100 per year by 2024.
We sincerely regret the error.
