AARP Maine Celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Festivals Throughout June

AARP Maine staff and volunteers will attend several LGBTQ+ pride festivals in Maine this June. Come visit our table, play our game, and learn more about our work to protect Social Security. You can find us at the following festivals:

Central Maine Pride (Waterville) on Sunday, June 1, 12 to 4 p.m. at Head of the Falls Park

Ogunquit Pride on Saturday, June 7, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common

Brunswick Pride on Saturday, June 14, 12 to 5 p.m. on the Brunswick Town Mall

Pride Portland on Saturday, June 21, 1 to 5 p.m. in Deering Oaks Park

Bangor Pride on Saturday, June 28, 12 to 4 p.m. in West Market Square

As we do for everyone as they age, AARP proudly supports the LGBTQ+ community by fostering connections through volunteer programs and caregiving resources. We aim to create a vibrant tapestry of pride, resilience and belonging for all. In the words of AARP’s founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, “What we do, we do for all.”
