Talks and Workshops with AARP

Upcoming in April with Central Arkansas Library System:

April 17 th : Brain Health at Fletcher Library; 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

April 29 th : Fraud Basics at Williams Library; 5:00 pm. - 6:00 p.m.

The workshops are FREE and open to anyone. You do not have to be an AARP member to attend.

AARP Arkansas has volunteers ready to present a variety of topics to community organizations, civic groups and churches.


 

AARP wants to provide older Arkansans and their families with valuable information in a comfortable, community-based setting that encourages conversations and two-way information sharing. These won’t be lectures in the traditional sense. They will be interactive and engaging.  

Speakers on topics such as:

  • Brain Health
  • Caregiving
  • Financial Basics for the 50+
  • Fraud
  • Medicare
  • Retirement Planning
  • Social Security
  • ...and many more
