Jingle for Janet 5K/3K

Raising money for research via the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation! Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) is an increasingly common form of cancer that took the life of longtime Waterford Mom Janet Parker in 2018. Since the first Jingle for Janet in 2018, we have raised over $45,000 and there has been a 30% increase in survival during that time directly related to research. So, our efforts are working, and we are even more motivated to keep it up!!

Jingle for Janet features an onsite 5K run which is competitive and timed. We also have a 3K walk which is untimed and non-competitive for those who wish to get out for some fresh air and enjoy good old fashioned Christmas spirit and camaraderie! If you're not able to join us on Saturday December 21st, please consider a virtual runner or walker status and complete on your own time at a place of your choosing. In past years we have had participants as far away as Korea utilizing the virtual option. If doing a virtual 5K, please time yourself and enter your time into this page after you've completed your run.

Registration deadline for early registration and ordering a t-shirt or beanie hat is midnight on 11/30. After that the price goes up $5 for each registration type. Online registration for the 5K ends at 11:55PM on 12/19. After that you may register on-site. Online virtual registrations and the 3K walk must be completed by midnight before the morning of the event.

For the 5K on-site, we will have 10-year age groups for both genders, and medals for the top three in each age group!

Please consider starting a team, giving it a good, spirited name, and being a Team Captain! Teams are at least 3 individuals, and after that can be as many as you wish. We will have awards this year for the top three 5K teams competitively and based on fundraising.
