About the Event

In 2023, the rate of suicide among U.S. veterans was approximately 30 percent higher than that of non-veteran adults, underscoring the urgent need for effective intervention strategies. We are honored to welcome Tiffany Daniels, an Army veteran and chaplain for the Maryland VFW, as our guest speaker for this session, which will focus on the critical mental health challenges veterans face. Daniels will provide insights into these challenges, share research on effective prevention strategies and discuss resources available to support veterans. Together, we will explore ways we can all contribute to supporting those who have served our country.
