Join AARP Nevada and Walk With A Doc for a quick health chat and a refreshing walk at Teglia’s Paradise Park. Walk starts sharp at 8:00am!
Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle.
Join AARP Nevada and Dr. Ellia Ciammaichella as we take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking.
Please Note:
- Please check in with an AARP volunteer wearing an AARP Badge at “Parking lot" of the Teglia's Paradise Park Activity Center.
- Our walkers will start walking at 10 a.m. sharp.
- Our team walks around the park 1- 2 times. You can choose to walk at your own pace and choose your distance.
- Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
- This event is accessible to participants using wheelchairs and strollers. If you need an accommodation to fully participate, please contact aarpnv@aarp.org
- If riding a bicycle, the use of a helmet is required.
