Add fermented foods to your diet to support your inner microbiome.
About the Event
The ancient practice of fermenting foods creates many of our most delicious flavors, from chocolate and cheese to beer and wine. The same processes also create the kind of live-culture foods that help support our inner microbiome.
The process of fermentation and the many types of live fermented foods, as well as the pre-biotic foods help beneficial bacteria thrive. Chef Asbell will demonstrate some recipes that will make adding fermented foods to your diet easy and delicious. If you like, you can download a list of ingredients to have on hand.
- Banana Oat Cookies
- Green Pea Carrot Fritters with Raita
- Quick Miso Soup
- Probiotic Grain Bowl with Quinoa, Edamame, Kimchi and Tahini Drizzle
