Discover how trauma can spark creativity with Katie Caron and Joanne Cohen. Learn about Katie's Neuron Forest project and Joanne's inspiring journey.
Many Survivors of trauma and other life challenges say that their trauma made them more creative than before their “challenging event (s)”. Our panelists Katie Caron (Artist and Educator) and Joanne Cohen (Consultant/Trainer/Board Member—Brain Injury Hope Foundation in Colorado) will share how tapping into their creativity changed their lives and perspective. Katie will share her Neuron Forest Collaboration with the Center for Bioethics at the University of Colorado, Anschutz, as well as discussing her powerful work dealing with a traumatic event. Joanne will moderate this program as well as share her courageous story that led to speaking at conferences, on facilitating seminars, and writing her book, Getting Hit, Getting Up, Moving Beyond: My Journey Through Brain Injury.
