About the Event
In The Three B’s of Music: The Beatles, Bach and Beethoven, award-winning musician Barry Wiesenfeld examines the backgrounds and works of these musicians and their influence on later musicians and composers.
In the second class of the series, Wiesenfeld will explore Johann Sebastian Bach, who wrote the book (literally and figuratively) on how music works. He explored and refined chord progressions, harmony, form and much of the music theory we still use today, three hundred years later. Join us to learn about his world and some of his most monumental works.
We'll also explore the positive effects that music has on brain health.
