About the Event
AARP New Jersey’s interactive webinar will address the growing loneliness epidemic and how social isolation can have a serious impact on health and well-being.
More of a hands-on workshop than a lecture, this session is designed to raise awareness about the effects of loneliness, shift the way we think about social connections and provide older adults with practical tools and motivation to build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships. All you need is a pen and paper!
Attendees will be guided through a reflective exercise to help them create a plan to grow and sustain their social networks, with the aim of leading a more connected, fulfilling life.
