Join us to explore the causes of back pain and how to determine the best treatment path for you in the first session of our Mindful Movement series.
About the Event
This is the first class in AARP Vermont’s four-part Mindful Movement series focused on back issues that arise from overuse, arthritis and other common problems and how to manage back pain and gain strength. Our foundational class will take a look at what can lead to back pain and how to figure out the best approach to back pain relief.
We will discuss anatomy and physiology related to back pain and introduce movement concepts that we will touch on in subsequent classes. Expect to learn some stretches that address different types of back pain. If you have a foam roller available, you may want to have that handy. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
Each class builds upon the previous ones, so we recommend signing up for the whole series.
