A rhythm or drum circle can offer a fun and engaging way to reduce stress, boost morale and promote brain health.
About the Event
Join percussionist Kevin "Bujo" Jones from the campus of Michigan State University for an interactive rhythm circle class.
Along with in-person participants at this event, virtual percussionists can have fun while experiencing some of the powerful benefits of making and enjoying music, which include a positive effect on brain health. We'll be providing warm-up and cool-down stretches to make sure you're fully prepared to enjoy the benefits of this immersive musical experience.
No experience is necessary – and drums aren’t, either! A tabletop or empty container will work just fine. You’ll have the chance to connect with other attendees and Bujo through a Q&A.
Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
