Try your hand at painting, sip your favorite drink and learn about caregiving resources at this virtual event.
About the Event
In acknowledgment of family caregivers, an important resource when it comes to helping loved ones age in place, AARP New Hampshire is sponsoring a virtual Paint and Sip class hosted by Paint and Sip VT. Anyone else in need of a break is welcome to join too!
Grab your favorite beverage and follow step-by-step guidance as you try your hand at painting “Lotus Spring Midnight.” We’ll give a brief presentation about available caregiving resources.
Supplies needed:
- A canvas, canvas board or acrylic paper (9"x 12" or 11" x 14" recommended but any size works)
- Easel (optional)
- Acrylic paints: red, blue, yellow, white and black; green is optional (we will also blend it in class)
- 3-5 brushes, from large to fine-detail sizes
- Pencil for composition sketching
- A cup of water to rinse brushes
- Small plate to mix colors
- Paper towels
