About the Event
Being a caregiver for a military service member or veteran likely will be one of the most important - and challenging - roles you will ever have. Your caregiver journey may take different paths, depending on whether the person you care for is active duty, retired, ill, wounded or disabled. It may start with occasional errands and medical appointments, and progress to managing medications, preparing meals, assisting with daily bathing and dressing and handling financial matters.
No matter where you are in the journey, having a good road map will make the process easier. This session will delve into five key areas:
