About the Event
Howard Washington Thurman (1899–1981) is rightly celebrated as a principal architect of the 20th-century nonviolent civil rights movement and a champion of positive interreligious engagement. In this webinar, two professors from Hartford International University for Religion and Peace—Rev Dr Cleotha Robertson (Director of its Howard Thurman Center) and Dr Lucinda Mosher (Director of its Master of Arts in Interreligious Studies program) discuss the value of Howard Thurman’s lessons on social responsibility for today.
