The nonprofit John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival, AARP Triad Region, and Word of Life Tabernacle usher in the season with an unforgettable evening of world-class music. This is second annual holiday concert presented by the nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the legacy of jazz innovator John Coltrane.
Albright is a celebrated recording artist, producer and live performer admired worldwide for his masterful tone and electrifying stage presence. The nine-time Grammy®-nominated artist began his solo career in 1987 with the release of Just Between Us, helping shape the foundation of the smooth jazz format.
He followed that with the chart-topping releases Groovology, Kickin’ It Up and Sax for Stax. Expect fresh interpretations of holiday classics, and joyful energy, from one of the most respected figures in contemporary music.
