About the Event
Join AARP New Jersey and the AARP Veterans and Military Families Initiative, in partnership with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), for an empowering webinar on the growing threat of scams targeting the veteran community. We’ll also highlight a wide range of free resources available to veterans, including career support, caregiving tools, financial planning and benefits navigation.
You’ll hear from USPIS speakers Donna Harris, public information representative, and Stephanie Glad, mail fraud program manager. They will share insights on current fraud and scam trends, offer practical strategies for prevention, and discuss how to protect yourself and your loved ones. The conversation will focus on issues uniquely affecting military families.
