Tap your artistic skills to generate some holiday cheer! Join AARP’s card-making series to create festive greetings using colored pencils and watercolors.
About the Event
Get creative this holiday season in two fun mini-series on designing your own greeting cards, led by AARP instructor Lynn Jones. Whether you’re new to art or have experience, you’re sure to be inspired by the first two classes exploring colored pencil techniques and the third and fourth classes on watercolors. Artists of all skill levels are welcome.
Holiday Cards in Colored Pencil (Oct. 19 and 26) will share how to use colored pencils to create a variety of designs, including trees, wreaths, decorations and lights.
Ho Ho Holiday Watercolor Cards (November 2 and 9) will explore watercolor techniques to help you create innovative, one-of-a-kind designs. Note: Be aware that daylight saving time ends on November 2.
