About the Event
In this monthly virtual series, AARP Illinois staffer Courtney Hedderman - aka the Fraud-Fighting Fraudlette - shares tips and real-life examples to help protect you and your family from scams.
For our December topic, the Fraudlette will discuss what you need to know about holiday scams, which can include nondelivery of items ordered, gift card fraud—where a seller asks you to pay with a prepaid gift card, and purchases at an auction site where the product was misrepresented.
