About the Event
Join AARP California for a special screening of Facing the Wind, a powerful documentary that follows two women as they care for their husbands living with Lewy body dementia (LBD). Through their stories, the film explores the emotional toll of caregiving, the resilience of love, and the strength found in community. From cross-country road trips to online support networks, this intimate and moving portrait illuminates the ways that connection, courage and compassion make the journey possible.
Following the screening, hear from the Susan & Charles Berghoff Foundation, whose mission is to increase dementia research and education, and discover valuable caregiving resources from AARP.
