About the Event
Join AARP Illinois in our virtual craft studio for a tail-wagging, holiday-themed virtual event. Learn how to create a festive “bark-cuterie” board packed with dog-friendly meats, cheeses and other treats. It’s the paw-fect way to celebrate the season with your furry friend.
Supplies needed:
- Any board to build on
- Fresh fruits and veggies like carrots, blueberries, apples and bananas
- Dog safe peanut butter
- Hemp hearts
- A good dog biscuit from a recipe or buy your favorite one (we used cheddar, sweet potato, bacon, oat flour)
- Freeze-dried salmon or other meats
- Duck feet
- Hand-rolled meatballs (we made turkey and pumpkin meatballs in the video)
- Store-bought duck jerky for dogs.
Anything can go on a bark-cuterie board as long as it's dog safe!
