Join AARP Illinois in our virtual craft studio for another opportunity to showcase your creativity. This time, we’ll paint ordinary bricks to represent charming books using imagination and whimsy.
Perfect for adorning your bookshelves, porches and gardens, this fun craft adds a bit of literary humor to your surroundings.
Supplies needed:
- Bricks - different shapes and sizes can work but we used a standard size of 7 5/8 x 3 5/8 x 2 ¼
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brushes
- Stencils (optional)
- Inspiration from classic books that you love!
