If you are dealing with too much loss in your life, this webinar may help you heal.
About the Event
Grief overload is what you feel when you experience too many significant losses in a short period. In addition to death, such losses can include divorce, estrangement, illness, relocation, job changes and more. When losses pile up, grief often seems especially chaotic and defeating.
The good news is that you can find your way back to hope and healing through intentional, active mourning. This webinar will cover:
- What grief overload is and how to cope with it
- What you may think and feel when you experience grief overload
- Six needs of mourning and how they will help you heal
- How to make a mourning plan
- What reconciling your grief looks and feels like
- How the Grief Overload Mourner’s Bill of Rights can help you actively mourn
This webinar is based on Too Much Loss: Coping With Grief Overload by Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D. He is the director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition and a faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
