Protect yourself from identify theft, deed theft, and other scams by joining AARP Nebraska and Christ Lincoln for a free paper shredding event! On Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST, we’ll be hosting a free paper shredding event with two on-site shred trucks at Christ Lincoln’s parking lot area, located at 4325 Sumner St in Lincoln, Nebraska. Event ends at scheduled time or when trucks are full, whichever comes first. There is a three bag or box limit per participant/vehicle. Each bag/box should not exceed 50 lbs. Paper only, please. Staples and metal binder clips should be removed in advance. Reserve your time window below for drop off of sensitive documents for shredding. Pre-registration is highly recommended as space is limited. Volunteers will check in confirmed reservations upon arrival. Please register for only one dropoff time window (or waitlist) to ensure fair access to all participants.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To ease traffic congestion, please do not arrive earlier than your scheduled time window, as no waiting will be permitted.
