THE GREAT GATSBY
Tuesday, July 9th at 1:30pm
The third film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel was one of the hottest films of the summer of 1974. Robert Redford stars as millionaire Jay Gatsby, who uses his fortune to buy his way into Long Island society. Most of all, Gatsby wants to win back the love of socialite Daisy Buchanan (Mia Farrow), now married to "old money" Tom Buchanan (Bruce Dern). Calmly observing the passing parade is Nick Carraway (Sam Waterston), who finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor. (USA, 1974, 144 mins, PG, English | Dir. Jack Clayton)
