About the Event
We will travel by public transit from Bugbee Senior Center to King Arthur Bakeshop and Café. You will learn how to plan and take a trip on the bus including tips to make your trip successful, “bus”ting some myths and how to be safe using public transit. See a detailed agenda below.
Lunch will be provided by AARP VT at King Arthur Bakeshop & Café.

Agenda:
- 10:00 am: Meet at Bugbee Senior Center in White River Junction, VT
- 10:00-11:00 am: Learn how to plan a trip using Advance Transit and TriValley Transit Bus Services
- 11:15-11:45 am: Travel on the bus with AARP VT staff and Partners to King Arthur Bakeshop
- 11:45-12:45 pm: Lunch and free time at King Arthur
- 12:45-1:45 pm: Travel on the bus with AARP VT staff from King Arthur back to Bugbee Senior Center
- 1:45 – 2:00 pm: Debrief & discussion about your experience traveling by bus
