AARP Texas invites you to a special screening of “Rio Bravo” in celebration of its 30th anniversary. This captivating dance performance, recorded live at the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Buena Vista Theater, features the Guadalupe Dance Company and Mariachi Azteca de América.
Through five chronological suites, “Rio Bravo” explores the rich cultural heritage of the Texas-Mexican border region, blending traditional music, movement and storytelling.
The event includes commentary from the directors and dancers offering behind-the-scenes insights into the production. A live Q&A with the cast and dancers will follow the screening.
