Find out how your state’s long-term care ombudsman can help people with concerns about their long-term care.
About the Event
All states and the District of Columbia have a Long-Term Care State Ombudsman who works to resolve problems related to the health, safety, welfare and rights of individuals who live in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes, board and care and assisted-living facilities, and other residential care communities.
Join AARP Ohio for a conversation with Ohio Long-Term Care Ombudsman Jackie DeGenova, and find out how the ombudsman program in Ohio and in your state can help support and advocate for you or your loved one in a long-term care facility.
