Make your voice heard during AARP Advocacy Day at the Capitol. A briefing on Sunday, January 19, at 5:30 p.m. will prepare you to engage effectively with your legislators about the issues that matter to you. Topics will cover prescription drugs, home and community-based services, caregiving, fraud and consumer protection, property taxes and more.
A bus will pick up attendees in Grand Forks, Fargo, and Jamestown on Sunday, January 19, and will arrive in Bismarck at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Hotel accommodations will be provided for everyone on this bus, with breakfast at the hotel in the morning. Each person will get a room, except for couples and others indicating they wish to share a room with another attendee. A light dinner and a briefing will be provided at the hotel on Sunday evening. Lunch on Monday will be provided for all attendees at the Capitol. There is no cost to attend but registration is required.
