AARP Kansas City has limited space for a FREE docent-led tour of The American Jazz Museum. Take our special tour and then stick around for the Jazz Museum's free to the public 3rd Thursday concert. The museum tour features exhibits on Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and others. Items on display include a saxophone owned by Charlie Parker and various Down Beat awards.
Third Thursday concerts are a monthly free event at the American Jazz Museum and hosts a networking event, live music, and a cash bar. Learn more about the Museum by clicking HERE.
The pre-concert tour is FREE to participate but pre-registration is REQUIRED in order to gain access to the tour. You must sign in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register. AARP membership is not required to create an account. You do not need to register with AARP for the concert, only the tour.
