The University of Minnesota’s dean of libraries will examine the challenges and opportunities that libraries and librarians face today.
About the Event
What librarians do puts them on the front lines in so many ways: helping to ensure freedom to read, teaching critical thinking skills, showing people how to recognize bias in search results and more. Lisa German, university librarian and dean of libraries at the University of Minnesota, will explore the challenges and opportunities that libraries and librarians face in 2024.
The University of Minnesota has 11 libraries with nationally recognized model programs in technology development, information literacy and research services.
