Join us for a virtual discussion of post-pandemic design - how our built environments are changing with the shift to working and learning online.
About the Event
Pandemics have long-term effects on how we live and work, and the COVID-19 pandemic is no exception. It accelerated us into a digital economy, in which we increasingly work, shop, and learn online, and is transforming how we use and design space.
This session, The Post-Pandemic City: Space, Structures, and Design in a Post-Pandemic World, will explore this rebalancing of our physical and digital interactions and what it means for the built environment going forward.
The speaker is Thomas Fisher, a professor in the University of Minnesota’s School of Architecture and director of the Minnesota Design Center.
