Be Red Cross Ready: Disaster Preparedness for Older Adults
Older adults are assets in the community and are often looked to for their wisdom and the unique gifts they can offer during a disaster. Being prepared and ready before and during such an event will greatly impact your ability to help and be helped during an emergency or disaster.
Join the American Red Cross of the Northern New England Region for a presentation led by Steve Thomas, Executive Director of the Red Cross of Southern Maine. This session will focus on the elevated risks faced by seniors during disaster events and how you and your loved ones can prepare for emergencies.
Participants will learn practical ways to be ready, stay safe, and support themselves and others when disaster strikes.
