AARP is celebrating Juneteenth by sponsoring The Soul Rebels concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre. The Soul Rebels combine pop music and a New Orleans brass tradition. The result is an eclectic live show that harnesses the power of horns and drums rooted in a deep pocket funk party-like atmosphere.  AARP members and family who arrive early will get a free picnic blanket when you check in at the AARP table (while supplies last). This is a great way to honor our Houston culture, get outdoors, and spend time with loved ones. See you there!

*Registering on this site does not guarantee you a blanket or a seat at the event*

AARP Picnic blankets will be available (while supplies last) to individuals over 18 who check in at the AARP table by the concert stage. We encourage you to use these picnic blankets while sitting on the hill to watch the shows and other times you may be outdoors.

AARP is not in charge of the covered seating at the venue. This event registration should not be considered in any way a seat reservation. Miller Outdoor Theatre distributes free tickets (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30 AM-1:00 PM. If tickets remain at 1:00 PM, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets.

If you are interested in reserved seating under the covered portion of the theatre, please visit Miller Outdoor Theatre website for more details:
