We've partnered with the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER) to bring a series of interactive workshops to women and family caregivers of all ages and backgrounds in the Jacksonville, Miami, and Orlando communities. This series will explore the unique, long-term financial needs and challenges women and caregivers are likely to face as they age. We want to empower women and family caregivers to build a bright and secure future for themselves by providing easy-to-understand information and resources on often difficult financial issues like savings, investments, Social Security, pensions, retirement planning, divorce, widowhood, and more.
To introduce you to this special program, please join us on October 24 at 9:30 a.m. (ET) for a powerful conversation called “Why Women?,” where we’ll explore the unique challenges and issues that women face as they age.
About our partner: WISER is a nonprofit organization that works to help women, educators and policymakers understand the important issues surrounding women’s retirement income. As the only organization to focus exclusively on the unique financial challenges that women face, WISER supports women’s opportunities to secure adequate retirement income through research, programs and partnerships.
In partnership with the Administration for Community Living (ACL), WISER created the National Resource Center on Women and Retirement to reach those who are the greatest risk for experiencing poverty in old age and help them achieve a more financially secure future.
