Join us for a relaxing online painting class aimed at giving family caregivers a fun break.
About the Event
Did you know that painting for pleasure may promote stress relief, help bolster memory and provide an opportunity to expand your creative growth? This painting class for family caregivers is open to artists at all levels, and no previous painting experience is required. A professional instructor will walk attendees step-by-step through the process of creating a new piece of art.
Participants must provide their own materials. To paint along, you will need the following:
- Acrylic Craft Paints - Colors: Black, White, Red, Blue and Yellow
- A set of brushes - small to 1" sizes work well. 3-4 brushes at most
- A canvas, canvas panel, or acrylic paper to paint on. I typically paint on 11" x" 14", but you may use any size that you wish.
- A cup of water to rinse your brushes
- A small plate or palette to mix your paint colors
- A paper towel(s) for any messes
If you want to use other mediums outside of acrylic paints, feel free to do so!
