About the Event
As we head into National Family Caregivers Month in November, review of the components of stress and self-care. There are over 41 million adults in the US providing unpaid care for an adult over the age of 50, many of whom report negative impacts on their own health and well-being. Mindfulness practices can help us avoid caregiver burnout and compassion fatigue. Perhaps you believe “I don’t have time to take a break” because you are taking care of a loved one? This workshop is for you! Learn breathing, movement, and various meditation practices that can easily be incorporated into your day.
