Join AARP for a six-week series of virtual Hatha yoga classes in the comfort of your own home.
About the Event
Certified yoga instructor Teri Mullen will lead this online yoga class each week on Fridays from March 8 to April 12.
You’ll be guided in the gentle postures of Hatha yoga, which are typically held longer and practiced more slowly. No experience is necessary - yoga starts where you are! Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
Yoga can help you increase flexibility and improve balance, stability and muscle tone as you learn the basic principles and practice breathing and mindfulness. You may also gain strength and reduce chronic pain. A yoga mat or blanket, bolsters and yoga blocks may be helpful.
How to Join
You may register for this series by selecting all classes you plan to attend and will need to complete a waiver of liability. Sign in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. You will receive an email with the Zoom link before class.
