Learn how to make homemade sourdough bread — just in time to serve it or gift fresh loaves this holiday season! We’ll also review the health perks of sourdough.
About the Event
Last month, we explored the benefits and basics of baking with sourdough and how to care for a bubbly starter. Now, we’re taking the next step: Learn how to bake your very own loaf of sourdough bread. In time for the holidays, this session will help you turn simple ingredients into a heartfelt homemade gift.
Learn how sourdough supports digestion and delivers key nutrients such as B vitamins, iron and magnesium from Bailey Carr, registered dietitian and nutritionist at Colorado State University’s Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center. If you like, you can download a list of ingredients to have on hand and bake along with Bailey.
Whether you're a seasoned baker or just sourdough-curious, come for a lively discussion, hands-on tips and beginner-friendly recipes that will have you baking with confidence!
