About the Event
Our virtual culinary series combines cooking and history for delectable bites. During each cooking demonstration, watch as our chef prepares a Latin American dish and shares history about its ingredients. This month, learn how to make vanilla extract and a vanilla gelatin, and discover the legacy of Mexican culinary pioneer Josefina Velasquez de Leon.
Chef and historian Maite Gomez-Rejon will lead the class and participants will have an opportunity to ask questions throughout the event.
