Join AARP Alaska for Part 4 of our webinar series on steps you can take today to support your brain and bone health. The final session will explore how a habit of regular strength training is good for your bones.
Instructor Sarah Lewis, a certified leader for the Better Bones & Balance program developed at Oregon State University, will introduce five simple strength-training exercises that can help you maintain bone mass and increase strength and balance. If you wish to follow along as Sarah demonstrates the exercises, dress in comfortable clothes that allow movement. A sturdy chair and either a carpet or a yoga mat will also be helpful.
