Established in 1965, Tackapausha Museum offers a variety of environmental education programs involving all aspects of Long Island’s natural history.  At the museum you can see live exhibits and monthly scheduled presentations which include; birds of prey, reptiles, amphibians, mammals such as opossums, rabbits, ground squirrels, porcupine and coming soon our amazing and unique Egyptian fruit bats.  Birthday party packages are available as well as Nature Walks, Campfire Circles, Bird-watching, Boy & Girl Scout Badges/Awards (Eagle, Life, Silver, Bronze, Gold) and Community Service projects.
