Find out how to develop practical resilience skills for coping with life’s challenges.
This virtual workshop on resilience is part of an ongoing weekly seminar offering a safe space for learning, listening, and sharing. The goal is to develop resilience strategies and coping skills to help you handle life’s challenges, bounce back from disappointments, and boost overall wellness. Easing social isolation through fellowship and connection can strengthen resiliency.
May's workshops will focus making friends. Having social support from close friends or family is an essential resilience factor. Studies show that those with strong friendships are far more resilient in many settings, whether dealing with difficult work situations, a severe medical illness, or even the loss of a loved one.
These gatherings are about live interaction and supportive small group discussion, whether you use your microphone or not; cameras are always optional. You’ll also get an introduction to mindfulness practices, along with exercises to hone your skills.
