The Zone Coordinator, an unpaid volunteer, supervises District Coordinators. The Zone Coordinator reports to the State Coordinator. Oversee and implement the strategic plan for growing the program in a specific zone. Recruit to fill vacant District Coordinator assignments.
Assist District Coordinators in recruiting host locations and instructors as necessary. Plan and conduct at least one Zone Workshop for District Coordinators. Attend annual state meetings. Maintain timely communication and contact with State and District Coordinators.
Actively seeks to involve diverse populations, businesses and organizations in ADS activities. Work cooperatively with ADS leadership volunteers, National Office and AARP State Office staff.
