Volunteer as a grocery shopper for or with a senior. Pick someone up and drive him/her to the grocery store, help with shopping tasks and shop on a regular basis. Or, shop for a homebound senior from their list using their money. Program helps seniors maintain independence and fosters a one-on-one relationship. Training and liability coverage are provided. Volunteers work with clients to determine shopping schedule that works best for both. This is a great opportunity to make a big difference in someone's life, including your own!
