Self-Discovery: Pain, Positioning & Purpose (モSDp3ヤ) is excited to share that we will soon launch a new veterans-focused initiative for Greater ATL and beyond! This initiative will leverage the skills and experience of senior (age 55+) volunteers in the Greater Atlanta area to expand upon SDp3メs existing mental and overall health programs, and pilot new programs for specific communities within the broader veterans community. Volunteers will engage in programs related to mental health first aid, mental wellness, suicide prevention, Community Resilience Model (CRM), Whole Action Management (WHAM), Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), mentoring, and peer-to-peer support specifically for veterans and those near to them.

In order to launch this exciting initiative, SDp3メs top priority is to hire a well-qualified Project Director. If youメre a veteran, family member of a veteran, or otherwise passionate about veterans issues, and are interested in getting more involved with SDp3メs veterans mental health programs as a volunteer, please reach out to with the Subject: モSDp3 Veterans Programs Volunteeringヤ and share 1) about your background, 2) why youメre passionate about helping veterans, 3) past experience youメve had as a volunteer and/or managing other volunteers, and 4) which County you live/work in.
