Our Team Facilitators are volunteers who make a direct impact in someone's quality of life by helping them self-train their own dog to be a service dog. Our facilitators benefit from free access to a significant part of our Service Dog Trainer program. They then work with our clients a couple of hours every other week to help them learn to self-advocate, work with their dog in public, and teach disability skills. You don't have to be a professional dog trainer, though you should have experience working with and training at least your own pet dogs. Experience as an educator of adults or children is extremely helpful.

Team Facilitators are needed in locations across the US.Atlas Assistance Dogs is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit working to ensure access to assistance dogs for anyone who would benefit from them by bringing qualify training and certification to the individual wishing to be part of training their own dog.
