Save the Children is looking for individuals who reside in the MS River Delta area (Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman and Tallahatchie counties) who want to give back to their community by help children become lifelong readers while being a mentor. AmeriCorps Seniors receive monthly tax-free stipends, personal time off (12 days a year), supplemental accident and liability insurance, paid training and mileage reimbursement. AmeriCorps Seniors are required to serve a minimum of 15 hours a week and meet an income requirement.
