Contact: rebekahwelch@accentcare.comDo you play an instrument or sing? Are you willing to share the gift of music? Please be a Music Companion Volunteer for hospice patients! Research has shown that music has a profound effect on our well-being and hospice patients are no exception. As a Music Companion Volunteer you will provide music that brings enjoyment, positive well-being and much life enrichment. Hospice volunteers experience a great deal of satisfaction from their service and spending time with the patients they visit. AccentCare Hospice (formerly Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Delaware) matches volunteers with patients who live in their town or nearby and we always work around personal or professional schedules. Comprehensive hospice training and orientation is provided as well as ongoing support and hospice education opportunities.
