Help members of the military, veterans, and their families during times of emergencies! Through emails and phone calls, SAF Casework volunteers will connect military members, veterans and their families to resources to assist with sending emergency communications to command, arranging for travel home, paying rent, bills or food insecurity.

Volunteers need to be able to work with diverse populations, treating others with respect and dignity, have good computer skills, strong communication skills, particularly listening skills and effective interviewing skills with a sound knowledge of telephone and in-person etiquette. Volunteers should have an awareness of and appreciation for military culture, military families, and veterans' issues. We need volunteer to be able to commit to 4- 8 hours per week, any time between 9:00am - 8:00pm M-F and 10:00am - 6:00pm Sat & Sun.

This position can be done remotely or in the Baltimore Office, volunteer must have access to a computer with internet and phone if done remotely. See for more details or to apply.
